Pierce holds a Masters Degree in Journalism, and began his career with the Associated Press. Hs is the founder of five national magazine titles, a Fellow National in the Explorer’s Club and a frequent contributor to litterateurs related to apnea therapies, emerging green technologies and sleep medicine. He continues to pursue a life-long passion for underwater exploration and adventure travel, and is currently engaged in creating an off-grid community focused on low-impact sustainability.
