Directions: When driving on 417 N, take the last exit before hitting I-4 (Exit 55B). Then, turn left at the light onto International Parkway. Head straight down International Parkway, cross over the H.E. Thomas Jr. Parkway intersection, and CannaMD‘s office will be on the right-hand-side. Look for signs that say, “Office USA” and/or “Wealth Management” in the upper right-hand corner. Patients are welcome to park out front. Please go through the main doors. How to Get Your Medical Marijuana Card in Lake Mary
Wondering how to get your medical marijuana card in Lake Mary? That’s what we’re here for! CannaMD‘s state-licensed, board-certified physicians are authorized to recommend medical marijuana to qualified patients.
Senate Bill 8A defines a qualified patient as:
A resident of this state [Florida] who has been added to the medical marijuana use registry by a qualified physician to receive marijuana or a marijuana delivery device for a medical use and who has a qualified patient identification card.
To qualify for medical marijuana in Florida, patients must:
- Be diagnosed by a certified medical marijuana doctor with a qualifying condition, and
- Be a permanent or temporary resident of Florida.
To meet Florida’s definition of a seasonal resident, patients must:
- Live in Florida for at least 31 consecutive days each calendar year.
- Maintain temporary residence in Florida.
- Return to their home state at least once a year.
- Be a registered U.S. voter or pay income tax in another state.

Senate Bill 8A further defines what conditions qualify for medical marijuana, including:
According to Florida state law, additional conditions may also qualify, including:
- Any other “diagnosable, debilitating condition of the same like, kind, or class” (such as anxiety, depression, or migraines).
- Terminal conditions that have been diagnosed by a doctor other than a patient’s medical marijuana doctor.
- Chronic nonmalignant pain.
