If you would like to add edible orders to your current CannaMD certification, please complete the form below.

What Changed?

On August 27, 2020, the Florida Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU) updated the way physicians enter information into the Medical Marijuana Use Registry. This change specifically impacts edible certifications, meaning that all doctors will need to adjust entries for current patients who would like to use this newly available route of administration.

To ensure your record is updated, please complete the form on this page. You will receive an email confirmation as soon as your update is complete.

The whole process is fast and easy. All you need to do is fill out the form on this page, no need to call!

More Details
While medical marijuana edibles were technically legalized with earlier legislation, sales and/or purchases have been prohibited as dispensaries waited for the Florida Department of Health to issue rules regarding production standards. Fortunately, those rules were released on August 26. On August 27, the Florida OMMU issued detailed physician instructions, and several minutes later CannaMD became the first clinic in Florida to certify edibles!
