MEDICAL MARIJUANA IN VOLUSIA COUNTY
While some counties in Florida have sought to make purchasing and using medical marijuana more difficult, Volusia County has gone above and beyond to accommodate those who need medical marijuana to get relief.
In November 2018, Volusia County voted to allow medical marijuana to be used on school campuses. This is great news for students suffering from conditions that are easily treated with medical marijuana, as beforehand they had been forced to go without their medication while on school grounds.
