- Limiting wait times in all reception areas

According to the original Department of Health Emergency Order issued by State Surgeon General, Dr. Scott A. Rivkees, medical cannabis physicians could conduct telehealth (remote) appointments for “existing qualified patients with an existing certification that was issued by that qualified physician.” Through Emergency Order 20-011, Dr. Rivkees extended telehealth provisions as long as Florida’s State of Emergency (authorized through Executive Order 20-52) continued and/or is extended. However, that emergency status has since ended. The last day of medical cannabis telehealth was June 26, 2021.
