Vote CannaMD for Best Medical Marijuana Card Provider in Gainesville!

Gainesville, you did it again!

CannaMD has officially advanced to the voting round in the 2026 Gainesville Community’s Choice Awards. We are honored to be nominated for Best Medical Marijuana Card Provider for the second year in a row.

After winning the category in 2025, we have the opportunity to make it two years running. But, we cannot do it without your vote!

What Are the Gainesville Community’s Choice Awards?

The Gainesville Community’s Choice Awards celebrate the businesses and organizations that help make the Gainesville area such a special place to live, work, and receive care.

Unlike awards selected by a private panel, the Community’s Choice Awards are driven by public participation. Members of the local community nominate their favorite businesses, and the companies receiving the most nominations move forward to the voting round.

That means this recognition came directly from the Gainesville community, making our nomination especially meaningful to the entire CannaMD team.

Why Your Vote Matters

Community recognition means more than another award on the wall. It helps Gainesville patients identify trusted local providers and gives our team valuable feedback that the care, education, and support we provide are making a difference.

Winners will be announced on October 13, 2026. Finalists and winners will also be featured online and in a special printed section of the Gainesville Sun, publishing October 18.

Thank You, Gainesville!

To everyone who nominated CannaMD, visited our Gainesville clinic, shared our educational resources, recommended us to a loved one, or trusted our team with their care: Thank you!

We are incredibly proud to serve Gainesville and the surrounding Alachua County communities. Being nominated two years in a row would not have been possible without the patients, team members, and supporters who continue to stand behind our mission.

Now, let’s bring home another win!

Vote for CannaMD once daily from July 16 through July 30 in the Medical Marijuana – Card Provider category.

Celebrating the Team Behind Our Gainesville Clinic

This nomination would not be possible without the dedicated team members who make our Gainesville clinic such a welcoming and supportive place for patients.

We would like to recognize our Gainesville medical assistants, Felicia Stewart, Kellee Rabell, and Kathleen Santos, for the care and assistance they provide every day.

We are also incredibly grateful for Gloria DeGeus, Director of Medical Services and Physician Recruitment, whose leadership has been instrumental to the clinic’s continued success. Fun fact: Gloria was the first Florida patient to receive a medical marijuana edibles certification.

Finally, a special thank-you goes to our Gainesville physicians, Dr. Beyer, Dr. Justis, and Dr. Umstead, for providing patients with compassionate, knowledgeable care.

Congratulations to the entire Gainesville team on earning this community recognition two years in a row!
